-Pasted the Footer Code into the php file

No visits showing up on Google.(And I know people are visiting- friends purposely visiting to help me see etc.) So I read through the forum again and...

-Pasted the Google tracking code into the Header.php

Still nothing being recorded. Any thoughts?

I figured it out. For some reason the analytic code does -not- work properly when:

1.) I put the code in the Dashboard section AND put the line of code in the footer. (according to the forum instructions)

Yeah- nothing.

It DID work when I *only* put it in the header file. Here is what I did:

1.) Go to your file manager and find the footer.php file. For me, it was located under: Public_html > Concrete > Themes > Default > Elements > Header.php

2.) Open the Header file and right before the last DIV tag insert your code. Voila!

After you make your edit, you can refresh your page and then click on View > Page Source and look at the code and see if your code is on every page. It should be.

p.s. There is a wait lag with Google Analytics, they say it's only a couple of hours, but I would give it a day.
