Google chrome closes the session after login
Permalink
Hello everyone,
I recently moved my concrete5 8.3.2 website to a remote hosting and Google Chrome started to close the session after login saying "Your session has expired. Please sign in again." it occurs few seconds after I log in.
This does not occur in Firefox
Thanks in advance for your help

This does not happen in Chrome incognito window
Chrome has been known to be fairly aggressive with its caching.
However, I'm wondering if the observed browser correlation is a red herring. If your new hosting environment uses Varnish or equivalent, that can interfere with c5's session management. You can test this theory by setting c5's session management to database-based (or something like that).

Hello,
Thanks for your help. Where do I switch the session mode? And I say again, this doesn't happen with chrome incognito.
Thanks.

Hello,
I saw a StackOverflow article and it suggested to reset Google Chrome. I did reset it and it worked!
Thanks for your help!

When you say rest. Do you mean Rest Google Chrome to the original settings in the settings menu?
Yeah, reset to defaults
