Google error email

Increase in “404” pages on my domain message received. Checking the error console on Google Analytics there are more than 1000 error 500 and 250 error 404 hits. All of them in the updates/concrete5/... Parts of the site. Should these be ignored?

It all depends on what pages they refer to.

In general terms, nothing within /updates/ should be indexed by a search engine. Its all core code and associated graphics and icons.

Perhaps you are missing a robots.txt file or an .htaccess somewhere.
