Header image with CTA / overlay text

I've looked through the add-ons but can't seem to find anything that can do what I want. I have the Fundamental theme, which has so fare fit all my needs except this one - I want to have an overlay of a transparent background and text that can be a clickable link to use as a call to action. Does anybody know of a way to do this, or a current add-on that will accomplish this?
This should be trivial for someone with a little bit of css and Concrete5 know-how AND access to the theme. But fundamental is a paid theme so not everybody has access to it. Did you try to ask the seller directly? What you ask should only take him a few minutes. Maybe he'll help?
Good call, I'm new to Concrete5 and didn't think of this as a theme specific request, I'll ask the developer.
You mean any paid option that you are looking for?
You don't even need a special block. For a one-off, you can do this with a regular content or html block and use block design to build the background.
