Images from easy gallery - external url's will not work

Hello,
I have a page I just made with the Easy Gallery block. I have an individual page with each picture and I have attached the external url to each one. When I click on a picture, instead of it taking me to the external url it just pulls up the picture to the middle of my screen.
Let me know what you think will work best to click on the pictures and be directed to the new url.
