Implementing h5p elements in c5? (Create, share and reuse interactive HTML5 content)

Permalink 1 user found helpful
Hey everybody,

there is a new exchange format (json/javascript/zip) which is called h5p which offers the ability of creating, sharing and reusing interactive html5 content accross different plattforms. Right now there are plugins for drupal, wordpress and moodle. The great thing about that project is that you can download and embed interactive content - just as easy as embedding youtube videos on your site. This is especially a great project for the open educational resources movement but also for e-learning / digital learning use-cases.

Project website:http://h5p.org/

I think it would be very cool to implement this into concrete5! What do you think? Maybe there are some devs who would collaborate to achieve this?

Best regards,
Matthias

Personal background:
I'm studying and working in the field of media literacy / media pedagogy and besides of that I started developing websites and web applications with concrete5 in 2011. I think concrete5 offers a very high potential for educational web applications because of the ease of use, the in-context-editing and the extendibility. (I tried to combine concrete5 and open online courses in my bachelor thesis e.g.http://openeoto.matthias-andrasch.de/de/start/... - unfortunately only in german available)

Hi
I would like to the this feature as well - maybe as an add-on.

Could/would someone have a look if it can be implemented? Would be really great.

Hi

searched and found. There might be another - even better solution:
See the video which explains quick and in detail how you can host h5p content on your own server. You use a little bit of extra github code for that (see video for explanations)

What do you think?
