more mysql errors… help, dashboard stuck in weird "text" mode since two days ago!

any idea? i'm stumped. do i have to restart the mysql db? how would i do that?

this problems doesn't seem to be related to concrete5. restarting mysql is not part of a cms.

that's part of the server and there's no single answer to your question. it depends on your operating system, your setup and a lot of minor things.

do you have phpmyadmin? does it work?
is this your own server? do you have a server admin? (I hope you do have one)..

it's a server problem. ask your hosting provider. the problem occurs on 000webhost.com

Now fixed. For info - I contacted host provider supanames.co.uk - owing to a firewall setting it appears the software was failing to connect to ip: I understand they added a script which has resolved the issue.
