Multilingual - create new page duplicate blocks

A website with 2 languages:
English and Dutch
If an English page is created with an image block in it and I create a new page using the toolbar (Click on language -> Create new page) ...
All blocks are copied to the new page (except for the global area blocks).
If I change the image block on the English page, then the image block on the Dutch page is not updated. Is there a way to retain the connection between blocks... if the 'master' (English) is changed; it also changes the other block (Dutch)? Unless a new instance of the block has been created.
