Parent area with separate login details

Hi, I have a request for a swimming school site and the owner would like to allow parents to have unique login details so that they can log onto the site and 'track' their child's progress on their swimming lessons. The must have on this is that each parent MUST have their own login details and will ONLY be able to access the child that their login permits, so admin will have to be able to have access to edit these login details.

Before I think about using C5, does this sound like something that could be used from a normal installation or a suitable plugin that I could use?

The easiest way without creating some kind of plugin would be to create a page for each child and then only give that parent's user id permissions to view that page. Of course you'd be controlling this manually by assigning permissions on the page.

I'd be careful dealing with children's data though. But, yes this is do-able out of the box without any additional coding etc.
