Redirect Homepage ONLY, not sub directory pages

I need to direct people to a revised website from the landing page of the old site. I have references back to the old site within the new site so I need to be able to link to those sub pages-so the redirect cannot be global. Is there a way to redirect only the homepage and not the sub pages?
You could use these 2 addons to redirect to a page of your selection.
