Search for text within pdf files

I'm relatively new to C5 and do not know html. Just building a site and learning as i go. I have a page "representing" where i alphabetically list our main manufacturers whose pdf catalogs open when selected. I am trying to have the C5 search tool i have on a separate "search" page search the text within the pdfs and display the results on the search page so that when the results are selected that catalog opens. Can you all help me with this?

Unfortunately I don't believe this is possible (without hand-coding your own solution, which would be incredibly complex). The only other forum posts I found when searching for this also have no solution:

Being new to Concrete5 myself, I don't have a solution... but perhaps a question that may lead to one:

Is there an easy way (i.e. an existing Add-On) to integrate Google Search into a Concrete5 site?

If so... Google can index PDF files.
