Unable to connect to database error

We are trying to move our site off an old server to a new local server, but we get a database connection error. The database has been copied and loaded into CPanel already, so we are not sure why we are getting the error. It loads to the page, so it doesn't seem to be an error with the server, the path, or the files. It looks like it can't find something linked with Concrete5. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you think you have an idea, let us know! Any questions about elaborating on the issue, let us know. Thanks! Below is a picture of the error.

Hi, I'd double-check all of your connection info then check your php log file for a more meaningful error message.

Hi rsi,

It would be helpfull if you give some more info. Besides AndyJ's question, also check and post:
- your version of concrete5 (the old server)
- your new version of concrete5 (should be the same !)
- installed add-ons and theme's
- url to the new server (if possible)

Make sure you copied all the packages folders and files
Can you try to enable database debugging in the dashboard on the old server and try to migrate it again ?

Good luck
