Using File Search, a long list of searches is generated | how to remove

I notice from time to time a long list of Saved searches is presented and to remove them, I need to do one at a time. Not sure how they are generated and how to bulk remove them. If I select more than one and select the Delete, the system hangs.

Which file search and saved searches are you referring to?

When I am in File Manager and use the Advanced option in the Search box, search options can be set. After setting an option, say File Set, and the filer is saved with a name, many empty duplicates show up in the File Manager list as well as duplicates of the named filter.

If I select more than one of the entries and try to Delete them, the systems hangs. Of course, I may have made some mistake in creating the filter, if so, I'm not aware what it may have been.
