Verion of 5.6 for the Migration Tool

Hi-

I am currently on Concrete 5.6.2.1 and want to use the migration tool to move my site to Concrete 5.8.2.1

Do I need to upgrade either the 5.6 or 5.8 system for the migration tool to work properly?

I am going to answer my own question. After spending considerable time searching the forms I have found that you should be on version 5.6.3.5 on the legacy system. It also looks like it is best to be on version 8.3.2 (the latest) on the new version of concrete5. There are some minor bug fixes in the 8.3 versions that deal with the migration tool. Hope this helps anyone who is trying to migrate their site.

It might be helpful if this information is added to the documentation on the migration tool.

For 5.7 you can use content exporter
