Video Upload

Hi, I know there is a limit for file uploads while using concrete5, but I am wondering if there is any possible way to upload a larger video file.

If not, would anyone suggest uploading the video to another online source and than using a video add on to stream it (ie. vimeo). The file was too big to load onto YouTube, so that option is out of question. It is about 15 minutes long. It is vital to the production and publication of my site.

Thanks in advance

There's a folder in the "files" directory called "incoming". You can use an FTP program to upload your video to files/incoming and then log into your dashboard and go to the file manager and choose "Upload multiple" There's a tab called "Add Incoming" you'll see anything you've uploading via FTP there.

Add it and it'll show up in your file library.

Do keep in mind that if this video is critical to the success of your website that whoever you need to view it will need to be able to download/watch it in a reasonable amount of time. You may need to reduce the video resolution or quality in order to create a smaller file that is more easily downloaded.
