Want to make one of my nav bar links a header and not open as a page.

Hi everyone,

I have a drop down on my navigation bar headed 'Galleries'. If you hover over it two more page links drop down, 'Headshots' and 'Showreel'.

The 'Galleries' button also opens a page but I just want it to be the header for the drop downs and not an actual clickable page itself. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance!

One way to do this would be to link it to the first child page (Headshots in your case)

Thank you keeasti. I should have said in my original post that my web building knowledge is pretty limited. How would I go about linking it? I have tried to through the site map but think I must be doing something wrong. I have also put in a re-direct block but it takes some seconds to redirect (even when it's set to 1 second) and was hoping of finding a solution that when clicking on Galleries it would take me directly to headshots.

Thanks again.

Good tip Vidall.

I prefer for the link not to be dead so the redirect to first child page works better for me.

I find this free add on very useful as it makes it much easier to implement:

Page Auto Redirect (search for it in the Marketplace)

It also allows to redirect to the newest child page, the parent page or a random one.

Once installed, it shows up if you go to Full Sitemap > Page Properties > Custom Attributes
