What happened to the RichTextEditor snippets?

What happened to the snippets?
I need to add extra snippets for Author and Page-Date so I can put them in the Output for a client (every time when they add a news page).
- they were working in 5.7 but now in 5.8 I can't find them in the toolbar.
I added the "Basic Snippets Pack" with new added snippets but it doesn't show up in the editor after installing.

Anyone knows what's going on?

Here's the package:https://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/basic-snippets-pack...
And here's a page that may need updating:https://documentation.concrete5.org/tutorials/how-to-create-rich-tex...

It sounds like you don't have this plugin enabled. Go to the dashboard > System and Settings. Under "Basics", go to Rich Text Editor. Check to see if this plugin enabled.

The option does not show up - its not in the RTF editor list at all - as I said.
And yes: i already have the plugin installed via 'Extend' so it should be ready to go.
There must be something else going on.

This may be due to CKEditor being updated to version 4 in 8.3.2.

which version are you on? There was a problem with version 8.2.1 but it got fixed and I can confirm it all works normally in 8.3.1
I didn't try with 8.3.2

Thanks, I was indeed on version 8.2.1 - after updating and actually uninstalling the package and reinstalling it again, it now works!
