Hi All
I've been using C5 for years and on many different hosts.
I'm stumped on this one. It's a host my client uses and
can't change. We've got a bunch of issues sorted out and
have green checkmarks across the board but, when installation
begins it gives me this error "& @ & @ & @ & @{"error":false}"
When I select the back button, it takes me back to the install
screen and says that I must install into an empty database (currently
has 166 tables). It was emptied each time I tried the install
with the same result.
Could it be a permission error on the server? Again, I've never
encountered this error and I haven't see any one else with the
same issue. I may try installing an earlier version of C5 and
see if that works. I'm currently trying 5.6.0.2.

A few weeks ago someone posted about going round in circles with the installer telling them the database was not empty. I don't know if or how that got resolved, or if it is even related to your problem. But it may be worth searching back for clues.

I've been reading postings all over the boards. Seems like it may be a WampServer issue. I'm contacting the host and he said it's 32 bit Unbuntu server so I'm doing some more checking into that aspect...
