CentOS 7 and Concrete5 - Need Installation Guide That Works

I've installed CentOS 7 core in a Hyper-V 2016 environment and I can log on OK.
I've tried following different guides on installing Concrete5 but half-way through commands are not working as CentOS reports the syntax is wrong. I'm copying and pasting from the websites so it's not a typo.
Does anyone have a link to a step-by-step guide on how to install Concrete5 on CentOS please?
