community portal inoperative

Hi,
completely new to concrete.
been usung wp with nextgen galleries, b ut wp is just getting so overweilding.
am\nyway very impressed how clean and straightforward concrete looks, im just running it on a dummy test site to get familiar with it.
Problem 1) i found is when I connect to community from my pack admin page i get a small
frame so that i cannot see what I am doing, I cant seem to find a way to easily resize this frame. So I guess I will have to browse marketplace separately and hand install any extras.
But surely there is an easy fix for this that dumbo here cant see.

(using a laptop with chrome browser. do i need to usea bigger screen? )

Thanks for reply.
The problem is that when I connect my site to the community portal, the frame to view the portal is only one line in depth, making it impossible for me to navigate and use the portal, as per screenshot I attached.
I'm sure there is a simple reason for this but I could not resolve it.

Yes, but you don't have to do the 'shopping' through the frame on your site. Once you have made the initial connection you can 'shop' directly by browsing concrete5.org, using the alternate method I described above.
Or is the problem that you cannot connect?

Thanks, sorry I didn't quite understand the first explanation.
Yes I can browse the community site separately as a member,
And my concrete installation is connected.
So if I shop on portal those purchases will automatically become visible within my admin panel for installation.
That will be amazingly easier.

The part that connects the two together on concrete5.org is the 'Projects' section of your account page.

Thanks I've think I've got it sorted now.
I (purchased) a free theme from the marketplace then attached the license to my project ,( installation) .
It's amazing how simple things are when they work!

concrete5 is far from perfect, especially when it comes to documentation (docs are a problem with many open source projects). Nevertheless, a lot of us stick with it because all things concerned, concrete5 is pretty good.
