I have found a number of posts here about disabling the cache. I have gone into the settings in dashboard and turned off Basic Cache. But files still keep building up in the cache folder, and are causing a problem with our web quota. What else do I have to do to stop this?

I also just did the Clear Cache function in dashboard, but it did not seem to delete anything - there are still over 500 files (mostly jpgs) in the cache folder. What gives? I just want to stop this!
