Fatal Error - out of memory

Permalink 1 user found helpful
I'm getting the following with C5 installed on an InMotion Hosting server.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 359756208 bytes) in Unknown on line 0

I've tried just about everything that I can find around the forums with this (clearing cache, maintenance mode switch on/off, etc). 256MB seems like plenty of memory to run a PHP site with, so I don't think that is the issue. Any thoughts?

Hi

this upgrade to 5.6 seems a problem that more (at this time at least 3 people) have - but mrzoidbergs links did not help for me: Still out or memory.

Hi

I changed PHP memory from 16 MB to 32 MB - then the upgrade worked.
