I am trying to install concrete5, but I use filezilla and cannot chmod the proper files! HELP!

in filezilla - try right clicking the folder and choosing properties - this might allow you to change permissions. I would recommend dropping filezilla and using WinSCP. virtually the same as filezilla but provides a secure connection and is a little more user friendly. changing permissions ins WinSCP is a snap.
