Install Error - Files as Writeable

Hi,

Getting this error:

Web Server Access to Files and Configuration Directories
The config/, packages/ and files/ directories must be writable by your web server.

All my directory permissions have already been set to 755 (host doesn't allow 777). Also, I've looked everywhere for the "packages/" directory after I unzipped Concrete5 and I can't find this folder. Does it exist for 5.3.2 ?

Thx,
Chuck

755 permissions work ok. I needed to manually create a "packages" folder and the routine ran through the initial setup.

Glad I found this -- had to manually create the /packages/ directory like you said, and then all worked smoothly.

(Odd that this folder does not exist in the download -- an oversight? Never had this problem with older versions of Concrete...)

no, this is usually due to your unzip application. Empty folders are sometimes ignored...

This is why some applications put a file "delete-me" in their empty folders.
