Installation of Latest Version

I am attempting to install the latest version of Concrete. Due to limitations on my hosting server, I needed to unzip all files locally, and FTP the contents to the my server.

When I attempt to run the installation, everything appears to be working, but I encounter the following error message:
"An error occurred.
Sorry, the page you are looking for is currently unavailable.
Please try again later.

If you are the system administrator of this resource then you should check the error log for details.

Faithfully yours, OpenResty"

I am unable to locate an error log - where is it?
What file reference might be incorrect to cause the error?

The server uses "htdocs" instead of a "public" folder. Could that cause the issue?

Thanks!

When FTPing the files and folders it should be noted that some files need to be uploaded in 'Binary' mode and others in 'ASCII' mode.
Also FTPing can mess with the file and folder permissions.
For the above reasons it is best practice to upload the zip file to the server and then extract it in place using the servers built-in file manager.
So my advice is don't use a hosting company that does not provide some version of Control Panel or similar.
