Installed C5 to Godaddy - they migrated it to a faster server and now the site is all screwed up.

I had 90% of the site built. This is the the response from Godaddy, see below. they are saying I need to change the 'absolute path' I DON'T UNDERSTAND AND CAN'T FIND WHERE TO DO THIS, if what they are saying is what needs to happen.

Apparently something got changed in the migration and the new site is looking for a location that does not exist anymore. The guy said that we would need to change the section in admin panel where the absolute path is and change it to: /home/content/70/10096970/html

Apparently it caused ss on header not to be found its set it to an old style html look versus content rich page and is looking in wrong place.

try clearing your cache and set your site controls to not use the cache. Is your typography css empty? Its coming up blank.

Not only is typography.css blank but main.css is blank as well. If the site relies on main.css, that might explain the issue I reckon.

All the paths look fine to me. It wouldn't be the first time GoDaddy tech support led someone astray.

I would try snagging copies of your old main.css and typography.css and put them in your theme folder at

[root]/themes/luminosity/typography.css and
[root]/themes/luminosity/main.css

Fantastic, I cleared the cache the site's integrity is all back. Looks like I have one last issue.

Can't login: please go to: http://www.pacificknightemblem.com/index.php/login...

orhttp://www.pacificknightemblem.com/login... ( I did copy the htaccess from one of my other sites) It did not make a difference.

Basically it is saying that: File not found. All themes need default.php and view.php files in them. Consult concrete5 documentation on how to create these files.

I've checked the theme and it has both files and I compared the code with another sites and it is all there.

Any idea on what to do so I can login. YOUR HELP WAS/IS SO APPRECIATED. THANKS, TIM

Good to hear that it's fixed. Could you post the steps you took to clear this up for the benefit of others who may have this problem in the future?

mhawke is right those 2 css files are empty.

You also have javascript errors coming up due to your facebook like buttons trying to get info from an https url to an http url (your site) and that's considered unsafe. That might cause the website to stop loading.

Just a thought,
It could be your servers php setting set to fastcgi
Try setting it to apache module instead..
