Is there a way to manually install add-on updates?

I'm trying to update a blog add-on for a site and there is currently an update for it, but for some reason I'm getting an error every time I try to update it... my old files get deleted, but the new files never show up.

Is there a way to manually download the update files and manually update them? Or does someone know how to fix this error?
