I've been locked out of my own site

Hi - I was changing the way that users can register on the site (concrete5.7) so that they can request a registration using their email..

I logged out. On the main site there is no place to register - I was expecting that this might appear as an option.

I cannot log back in. I had originally been set up with a user name (not an email) so I am thinking this is what cased the problem. It doesn't seem to know my email address - it didn't send me a reset email.

So now I'm locked out. How can i get back in?

Andrew

If you have access to your phpMyAdmin on the server you can look in the Users table and see what your email address is and use that to log in.

Once you get into your database go to the logs table. Even if you didnt get the email it will (should) be in the logs as an email sent. There will be a url in that 'sent' message. Feed that into your browser and reset your password

Sorted - thanks for the help posted. I manged to find the original email address on the hosting cpanel and then remembered the password. still not sure why the reset email didn't come through but panic over.
