Login Problems

I am not a web developer and no very very little about PHP MySQL and the like so if you answer this please speak as if you're talking to a child. :) Thanks.

I have a fried of mine that is a missionary and I build him a site but it's way overdue for a redesign and I really wanted to build it on C5. I had a really tuff time getting it installed but I finally got it all sorted out and installed on a sub domain of my personal site to start playing with it and trying to learn it. Once it installed it took me to the generic homepage with generated content...etc. etc. but I logged out just to see what it looked like and to see to process of logging back in to edit the site.

I've used every username and password that I've created.... NONE WORK!
So I tried the "forgot password" thing and it tells me, "We have no record of that email address."

WHAT IS GOING ON?!?! HOW DO I FIX THIS?!?!

your admin email is stored in "users" table in sql.
if you enter that email, you can reset your password.

Hi Richey,

If your host has cPanel, you can reset the password from there.

Here is a walk-through guide I did on how to Reset Your Lost Password for Concrete5:

I hope this helps,
