Login problems

I have my site up at Rollermonkey.com and changed the default user name and password. I retrieved my password via email and logged in but there is no top task bar and I can't edit anything. The only way I know (or think) I am logged in in is that I don't get a error message. I cannot get to the site page either. Any suggestions?
Is there any content on the page at all?
I just noticed that it seems to affect only the created accounts, not the initial user created when the software was installed. If I login with the created user account I go right back to the home page, everything intact except the top edit bar.
If you just create a registered user, that user can login - but there's really no functional difference between a "registered user" who's not in any group, and a guest.
You'll want to login as "admin" and go edit the user you created. Toward the bottom of the user record you should see a link to add the user to groups. Put the user in the Administrator Group, and make sure to update the user. Then, when you're sure the user's in that group, logout and login with that user account, and you should see the edit bar.
