Manual Approve new registration - 8.0.3

Hi
As a newbee,i have test the procedure of the registration of a new user. This was before the email smtp service was running. I have selected the option "Manual Approve" and clicked on new registration and filled the necessary user information. No problem so far.

As I logged in as the administrator again I expected to see a queu for waiting approvals of the new registar, although nothing to see. After some clicking around I found the Welcome / Waiting for Me.page. It was saying new user xxx is waiting for approval...+ the option to delete this message. What I finaly did. After that no trace to be found of this new registar. Not even after I enabled advanced permission and the workflow option.

Questions
- What do I wrong here?
- how can I view and recover/approve this user?

It took me a while to find this out:

1. Go to the 'Members' section in your dashboard
2. In the search box click on 'Advanced'
3. Click on 'Add field'
4. Choose 'Activated'

Yes that worked. And you are true I could really not imagine how to find it out myself. Must say this is a rather exceptionally way to welcome and approve new registars. Thanks...

Maybe a different topic, but very closely related - I cant seem to see manual approval of new members in Concrete 8.2.1 under /dashboard/system/registration/open - is it missing in 8.2.1 or has it moved somewhere else?

This process changed in 8.2.0.

"IMPORTANT: If you use the “Manual Approve” method of handling user activations, this option has changed to use User workflows. Add a workflow to the “Activate User” permission to the “Dashboard > System > Permissions > Users” page. This will force users to go through workflow prior to them being approved after registration. Registration has been disabled on your site! Once you’ve setup workflow, re-enable user registration from the Dashboard."
