Permalink
Hi all,

I am sorry! As I know this has been covered but I am still unsure. I want to test outhttp://get.gaug.es analytics for my website. However I need to " To track Melange Counselling test, place the following script at the end of each page you want to track, right before the </body> tag.

E.g EXAMPLE
Add this:

<script type="text/javascript">
var _gauges = _gauges || [];
(function() {
var t = document.createElement('script');
t.type = 'text/javascript';
t.async = true;
EXAMPLE>..
t.setAttribute('data-site-id', '58d1ed9abb922a786103197b');
t.setAttribute('data-track-path', 'https://track.gaug.es/track.gif');
t.src = 'https://d36ee2fcip1434.cloudfront.net/track.js';
var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0];
s.parentNode.insertBefore(t, s);
})();
</script>

How would I add this to each page ??

Any help would be most appreciated. Please explain as simply as possible I do struggle with this.
THANKS!!!!!!
Regards
Darren

Hi MrKDilkington,

Sorry I am still lost. When I read that link you posted. It stated " you can easily insert tracking code into your site's header or footer. Any script you paste here will be inserted at either the bottom or top of every page in your website automatically, wherever you specify."

However if I go to say my home page and go to footer. I have the option to ADD a block. The only block I see that you can put code into is the HTML block. Which if added does not allow that paste of Java into ( which I of course tried ). You mentioned however this can be done in " The "Dash Board" I am not sure what you mean here. My understanding of dashboard is as shown on attachment. I really appreciate your help, you have humped in on many of my posts so thank you... Please advise
