SSL certificate weird behaviour and security warning C5 8.5.4

Permalink 1 user found helpful
Hi all,
I have two 8.5.4 installations on a shared served server, one with a pointed domain and the other with a subdomain.
After moving them to a new server (same provider, same product and same shared IP)
I connected them to new domains each to a proper full domain, no subdomain all runs fine.
Now when I added SSL certificates to the setup suddenly the sites both show security warnings, no matter from which network I'm accessing them.

The weird thing is, the certificate IS the wrong one (it's still the one for the old development domain I used on the other server!

As far as I know there is no C5 area where certificates are handled apart from the canonical domain, which still isn't set.

I don't have a clue what to do now.
Any help is very much appreciated.
Thx

Now sorted and mybe helpful for somebody.

I had to remove the SSL certificates for the development domains from the server (old server) and remove any entries for the domains as well. I changed the IP in the zone file for the domains, pointing so far to the old server and let them point to 0.0.0.0.
Then I had to remove the SSL certificates on the new server as well and reinstall them.
This finally sorted things.

Did anybody come across similar issues on shared servers?
thx
Stephan
