Updating from Version: 5.4.2.2.

Trying to up date from Version: 5.4.2.2. and I am getting the following message.

The following errors occurred when attempting to process your request:
The directory /kunden/homepages/41/d201479547/htdocs/app212952391/updates must be writable by the web server.


How do I solve this problem???

Just give to the webserver's user enough permissions to write to this directory. In Linux something like 
chmod -R +w apacheuser /kunden/.............
