Upgrade from 5.6.0.2 to 5.6.1.2

Hi all

The dashboard/upgrade C5 tells me "no update available".

Is it because this upgrade is not recommended and it's better to wait for 5.7 ?

I was mainly interested in the cache improvement expected.

Any advice ?

Try viewing the news page - Dashboard - News.

I've noticed the upgrade page in the dashboard doesn't seem to detect right away whether there's a newer version after an upgrade. It usually updates within a day.

Hi,

Thank you for your answer, I realize I was not precise in my request.

The "No update available" is displayed when I use Dashboard/System & settings/Update Concrete5.

So it sounds like it says there is no update, when in reality there is.

All you have to do is update manually.

1. Download the latest version, 5.6.1.2. Unzip it to somewhere on your PC.

2. Upload to the /root/updates/ folder of your c5 installation.

3. Go to Update Concrete5, just like before. Hopefully there will be a little link telling you that there is a manual update, I can't remember the exact wording right now, but there should be a link there.

4. Click that link, and it will shortly pop up a page telling you it has updated.
