Upgrade PHP to 7.0

Hi,
I've still got a few 5.6.x.x sites on my server.
I want to upgrade PHP to 7.0
Can i expect any problemes with the older versions?
Kind regards,

Niels

Yup, 5.6 sites don't work on PHP7 (at least, not out of the box). I don't think there are real workarounds either. If I recall correctly, it got something to do with $this usage and a whole lot else. Best to upgrade them to concrete5 version 5.7 first.

Perhaps a core developer can talk about more about this "issue"?

Hm, I was under the impression that you cant upgrade a 5.6.x.x to 7.x.x.x?
Am I wrong?

You can not upgrade a concrete5 5.6 website to version 5.7 (or 8.0) indeed. You need to migrate if possible (but this could be partial, as you may have 3rd party Add-Ons). Best would be to begin from "scratch". You could of course use most of the theme files, as nothing much has changed. Only small changes are needed.
