Website Password

When attempting to login to my site I am given a "Forgot Password" Link. I click the link and am taken to a "Forgot your password?" sign in page. I have entered EVERY email I have ever had and have not received password reset instructions in any of them. I do not know how to proceed in order to update my website. Please help!

It could be your site isn't managing to connect to the mail server, or that the mail server is blocked from sending.

If you have cPanel access (or equivalent) to your host account, you can use that to open phpMyAdmin, then look at the Logs table and see the emails sent there. Look for the most recent lost password link in the Logs table (so on the last page in phpMyAdmin).

Then paste that into your browser.

Spent an hour on godaddy PHPadmin page and the only logs I found contained zero password reset information. Not sure where to turn next. What's more, my IP has been banned from too many attempts. Might have to use a website backup on a different platform in order to gain access. Thoughts?

To find the email account used for the admin user look in the 'Users' database table.

If you are the super user, or you need to become the super user, you can get in by installing
https://github.com/mnakalay/Concrete5-Super-User-recovery...

(as long as your site is v8+)

As an aside, GoDady shared hosting has a very bad reputation for not having enough resources to host c5.
