Concrete5.7 Internationalization

I started working on an international website using c5.7.5.8

I followed Franz's excellent YouTube instructions athttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XN4dLDq3EwQ...

I created the sub-level language trees off of the original home page. All is going well.

My question is that when I try and edit (clean up) the original home page by clicking on "Visit" in the sitemap it always takes me to my new default English home page.

How do I get back to the original home page to remove all the unnecessary blocks/content on that original home page?

In multilingual setting you can set the default homepage (dashboard > multilingial > multilingual settings). If you have set a default locale and also the 'redirect home page to default locale' i guess it redirects automatically to the language page set here.

It should not work like this from sitemap, but you can try to uncheck this setting.

Thank you.

It was the "redirect" that prevented access to the original home page.
