Forms in multilingual site, localized error messages

(I'm on 8.1.0)

I'm still relatively new to concrete, so please excuse my ignorance...

I'm trying hard to get a solution for a contact form that is fully localized. I have a multilingula site with DE, EN, FR, IT.
DE is the default locale. The form on DE correctly displays "Senden" on the button, but it shows "Erforderlich" instead of the star for req. fields and the error messages (e.g. missing entries after click on Send) are in English. The star thing is not a big problem, but the error messages should be in German.

What's the "correct" approach to have localized error messages in 8.1.0? I already have the most recent German language file installed in application/languages

Thanks for any hints!

I think this has been fixed in the development version of concrete5 (so, the upcoming v8.2 will work fine).

Great, thanks.

Is it possible to get an estimate when 8.2. will come? I know it's difficult, just based on previous cycles, maybe.

Hey guys, just saw the thread.
I'm on 8.2.1 and still have the same issue. Did you solve it somehow?
