Mail regexp translation

Hi!

I just saw that the trunk messages.po was updated, so I have commenced on updating my sv_SE translation using the new strings. I must say I am happy to finally see internationalized date strings! :)

However, there's a new regexp that I don't quite understand. It's this line, from concrete/libraries/mail/importer.php@30:
/\\-\\-\\- Reply ABOVE\\. Do not alter this line \\-\\-\\- \\[(.*)\\] \\-\\-\\-/i

As I type the Swedish umlauts etc using UTF-8, I'm a bit worried about the translation of this string, as mail clients can and will munge most everything to "fit" on a 7-bit transport (as if the world still runs ancient sendmails). I translated it into
/\\-\\-\\- Svara OVANF.{1,8}R\\. .{1,8}ndra inte denna rad \\-\\-\\- \\[(.*)\\] \\-\\-\\-/i

But I'm a bit worried that the regexp might not work e.g. with QP inline encoding etc. Is a span of eight chars enough to cover an umlaut, you think? Or is it so that c5 sees the "cooked" mail with all the nice encodings already taken care of?

Cheers,
Petri

Odd! I certainly did not type in the PHP tags - the forum just decided they ought to be there. Just ignore them.

And another "bug report" - on the community forums page, there's an extra space inside the a href to the, well, bug report forum. Nitpicking, I know :D
