Odd switch language behaviour

Something is driving me mad .... I have a site with 2 languages so far, what happens is one of the languages section is returning blank pages ... I noticed that if I copy the tree without applying any language to it, pages show just fine, but as soon as a tree becomes a language section, pages are just blank
