I need a couple of custom blocks making using "block designer pro"

Hi
I need a couple of potentially simple blocks making using the "block designer pro" plugin.
I have just moved to 5.8 from years of working with 5.6 and now i am stuck with out my one and only "designer content pro" which i used to create all my own custom blocks.

I am struggling to get my head around block designer pro specifically the formatting of the code in the view.php, I'm used to the way "designer content pro" plus "designer content pro" had a very very helpful documentation site which basically gave you examples of each field type and how to use it in the view.php

Anyway what I'm looking for is the following.

- a block which displays images that are links to other pages on the site.
- there is a description which is centred over the image when hovering
- the image itself is cropped on the fly depending on a select option when adding the the image, for example the select options would be landscape / portrait / square etc. and each option should crop the rendered image to a specific size.

please see my example of this plugin i made with "designer content pro" herehttp://casa.starlingcloud.com/index.php?cID=149...
also i can give you the code from "designer content pro" so it shouldn't be a hard or long job to do.

The second block i need is a simple slider using royal slider example herehttp://casa.starlingcloud.com
this time I need the ability to add image and or video options.

I realise these are both very simple but once i have these two blocks coded up in the new "block designer pro" I hope i can understand the coding a bit better and i should be able to do the rest myself.

I will be supplying the js and css for making the blocks do what they need to do.

thanks
please let me know if your interested
Regards
Matthew

Hi Mathew, looking on Github I got the old 'Designer Content' to install and work happily on 5.7 although I have not tried it on 5.8 I doubt there would be a problem. Let me know if you still need help with this.

There is a new designer content block for version 7 and 8, I'd suggest
buying a copy and using that.

Version 6 add-ons dont generally work with 7.
