Reconnecting Website to Concrete5

Hi,
I have a Concrete5 account which is showing my website as a project page however when I am in my website, it is saying that I need to reconnect the website to Concrete5 however when I try to log in it is not registering. I believe this is happening because my initial Concrete5 website was created with a different URL and I purchased a new URL which is the primary URL. I was told to try disconnecting my website from Concrete5 however the last time I tried that, I lost my website content as it defaulted to a new Concrete5 project.
It is giving me the messages below:
Re-connection Required
This site needs to be reconnected to the concrete5 community. This typically occurs because the site's base URL has changed.
When i try to login using the same username and password as my Concrete5 Account I am getting this message:
You must login with a username that is an owner or editor of this project.
Any help would be appreciated!

Created a site in C5 version 8.
Connected to the community no problem. Now it says "External marketplace support has been disabled for this website."
Edited the config part in PHP as suggested but nothing changed except it now says "Marketplace integration disabled in configuration file.".
Just great eh!
The only thing that's changed is i used pretty URLs, so turned that off but it didn't affect.
Why oh why, was version 8 released with so many bugs!

Did someone else work on this? Can you log into C5 website and go and then click your username at the top right.
Then on the side bar you should see a link to projects. Is your website in there?
