Seeking developer to create custom plugin

Hi,

I need a plugin created that can track the downloads of PDF files that are displayed on the site. The users would be logged in before being able to download. The tracking section in the backend would display a list of the users and each name would be a link. Clicking on the name would take the admin to another page that would show a list of what PDFs this user has downloaded.

If you need more details, please let me know.

Thanks,
Colin

For what version of Concrete5, legacy 5.6.x or new 5.7.x?

Sorry forgot to include the version. This is for the legacy 5.6.x

I think the core document library addon can do that. Available for 5.6 and 5.7. On 5.6 there are several other addons of similar capability.

We've got the Document Library add on and I'm pretty sure it can't do this. I've tried searching for something but haven't found what I need.

If you were to take the document library as a baseline, what additional functionality would you need?

I need a page in the admin area that shows statistics for what users are downloading what files. It could go under the Reports header. I was thinking the page would show a list of user names and each name would be a link. Clicking on the username would take the admin to a page that shows what that user has downloaded (file name and date of download).

I built some functionality similar to this to track where visitors were bailing out of a rather explicit Contact Us form for danver.com and brownjordanoutdoorkitchens.com. I can hook you up.

Best regards,
