add on block won't install

This is driving me insane - please help. I have purchased a block and assigned the licence but it won't show as 'awaiting installation'. It is in the correct folder (packages), I have deleted it and reuploaded it and removed the cache but it stubbornly refuses to show up to install. Is there some other way I can prompt installation? Many thanks in advance. Jo
Did you check the folder structure within the package? Often the package-folder is stored needlessly in an additional folder. Only upload the "real" package-folder and try to install the package.
Yes - all looks ok - open the folder and it shows all the folders and txt files associated with the add on. So frustrating. Any other ideas?
Does your concrete5 version match the requirements of the Add-On? Maybe your version is below the required concrete5 version.
I've just discovered that this is the case - doh!
I'm going to have to ask for a refund.
