Form data not held in reports / database

Hi,
I am trying to locate the part of the code within the form block which uploads the form data when its completed to the websites database / reports section.
I want the data to be simply emailed to the address listed in the recipient. Can this be done and how would i do it?
I need to do this in 5.7 too if anyone has any ideas?

I would also like to know how to configure the form block for 5.6.x so that it doesn't store data on the database and C5 dashboard - sending emails only.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
