Cannot change CSS with Element Copy

Dear all,
I made a copy from the Elementry Theme (see attachment). General it works fine but I cannot change the CSS.
If I try to change the CSS the file \application\files\cache\css\sticky_menu_responsive\main.css will be deleted and not updated.
Had someone the same error in the past?

Don't clone the Elemental theme!
Use the Cloneamental theme instead..
