Supermint Error: Call to a member function getPackageHandle() on null

Whenever I attempt to remove Supermint from my themes and revert back to elemental it bricks my entire website and everything returns the error:
Call to a member function getPackageHandle() on null
This is becoming increasingly frustrating and any fixes would be lovely. This was a brand new install of C5, loaded up the marketplace, added supermint, the theme didn't come with any starting point and was seemingly incomplete, reverting to elemental caused the error.
EDIT: It looks like Supermint and most if not all of the "free" themes for C5 no longer work properly in the newest version.

That is the theme I was using that caused the errors. If you view the newest reviews, everyone is having trouble with it in the current version.
Okay I just tested this myself on Version 8.4..
What I found was if you activate the elemental theme and then go back to themes page and click 'remove' on the supermint theme the error is thrown as per your post..
However, if you use the 'Uninstall' feature in the 'extend concrete5' page, it removes supermint without an error.

I think I have fixed the bug that was causing a fatal website crash during remove of the supermint theme, by ignoring the page_theme which is not available during deletion. Testing has been done on c5 version 8.4.2.

I do not have access to update the theme in the marketplace, so the marketplace may be some versions behind.

Its great to hear you have updates for this lovely theme. Thank you. I have installed the theme version 3.4.1.3. I am having a few issues:
1. The 'form' block is not showing up properly. I had to use the legacy form only. Still, the form submissions are not showing up in the dashboard reports.
2. The templated for image sliders are not working properly even after making all the possible options in the Theme customization options through the dashboard.
3. The font sizes in the mega menu drop down and the simple drop-down are different.
Would you please look into these issues?
