I thought this problem was answered but I can't find it .. If I edit a product, the " Groups " category gets deleted on save. Is there a fix out there for this ??

Are you saying that when you save the product it simply doesn't keep the groups it is placed in, or are you saying that the actual groups get removed from the system?
If it's the former, I've found this can happen when the page hasn't finished loading and you hit save quickly. (I put in a github fix for this, but for the time being it's just a case of waiting for the page to load completely before saving).

If you edit a product and save the changes, the product is removed from the group it was in
