Adding code for external graphic

Hi everyone. A friend of mine created an interactive graphic of a timeline for my site, but she is not familiar with concrete5 and I am a complete beginner. The site is currently stored locally, and I am trying to figure out how to install this graphic to my home page.
These were her instructions: "What you need to do is to copy the structure of the index.html to your code and you need to add images and .js libraries to the same folder that the home page is located."
But I am not sure which code to access and where?
Hope this is enough info, let me know if it's not.
Thank you

Are you hoping to hard-code this into your homepage or make it a block you can add to any page? Do you have a custom theme or are you using the standard elemental theme?

I only need it on the home page, so maybe I should ask which option would be easier? I am using standard elemental theme. Thank you for responding

If you don't want to use a custom theme such ashttp://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/themes/cloneamental... you're going to have to make this a block. There is quite a bit of documentation in the Documentation section about how to make a block, I would suggest you look through it and see if you can figure that out.
